The kick-off meeting for the Dyslexia@Work project was held in Bologna, Italy in December 2019, followed soon after by the second partner’s meeting in Malta in January 2020. Due to the Covid pandemic, the next meetings had to be moved online.
Partners met online in May and again in September 2020. The initial phase of the project for much of 2020 involved research to compile a Comparative Analysis of the legislation, policy and practice relevant to dyslexia and work in each of the partner countries – Italy, Ireland, France, Malta and England.
Following the comparative analysis, the partners will now begin work on developing a framework for the research interviews with employers and recruiters, while also beginning a search for participants for these research interviews.
